Operations

- Supervise daily production activities and ensure achievement of planned production targets.

- Monitor production processes and ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.

- Allocate manpower and machines according to production requirements.

- Ensure proper utilization of raw materials, manpower, machines, and other resources.

- Monitor production output, productivity, and downtime.

2.

Manpower

Management

- Supervise and guide production operators, workers, and helpers.

- Prepare shift-wise manpower allocation and work schedules.

- Monitor attendance, punctuality, discipline, and productivity of shop-floor employees.

- Train and guide workers on production processes and SOPs.

- Identify manpower requirements and coordinate with HR/management.

3.

Quality

Control

- Ensure production is carried out according to defined quality standards and specifications.

- Coordinate with the Quality team to identify and resolve quality issues.

- Minimize rejection, rework, and production defects.

- Ensure proper documentation of quality-related issues and corrective actions.

4. Machine & Maintenance Coordination

- Monitor machine performance and identify breakdowns or abnormalities.





- Coordinate with the Maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.

- Minimize machine downtime and production losses.

- Ensure operators follow proper machine operating procedures.

5. Safety & Compliance

- Ensure strict compliance with workplace safety rules and company policies.

- Conduct regular checks of the production floor for safety hazards.

- Ensure employees use appropriate PPE and follow safety procedures.

- Report accidents, incidents, and unsafe working conditions immediately.

6.

Production

Planning & Reporting

- Coordinate with the Production Manager for daily and weekly production planning.

- Monitor actual production against planned targets.

- Prepare daily production reports, shift reports, and productivity reports.

- Track key production metrics and highlight deviations to management.

- Maintain proper production records and documentation.

7.

Process

Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and production capacity.

- Reduce material wastage, rejection, rework, and downtime.

- Suggest improvements in production processes and workflow.
