Job Title: Production Supervisor – Sheet Metal Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our floor operations and maintain our strict manufacturing excellence standards.

Job Summary The Production Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations across our fabrication, laser cutting, bending, and assembly sections. This role focuses on optimizing machine capacity, maintaining tight tolerance quality controls, enforcing safety protocols, and leading a skilled team of technicians to deliver orders on schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Shop Floor Leadership: Manage, coach, and assign daily workloads to operators handling CNC laser cutting machines, CNC press brakes, spot/laser welding machines, and riveting/clinching machinery.
- Workflow & Process Optimization: Oversee the manufacturing lifecycle of custom sheet metal parts, enclosures, brackets, and structural supports to meet lead times.
- Quality Control: Ensure all finished components strictly align with SolidWorks/AutoCAD designs, dimensional specifications,



and client requirements.
- Maintenance Coordination: Actively troubleshoot raw material issues or machinery bottlenecks, minimizing downtime on high-value equipment like the CNC 3kW laser cutters and 8-axis press brakes.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict shop floor safety protocols, ensuring the proper use of protective gear, safe material handling, and a clean workspace.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate daily production logs, track material utilization, and report capacity metrics directly to plant management.

Qualifications and Skills

- Experience: 3+ years of supervisory experience directly within a sheet metal fabrication or precision metal manufacturing environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes, including cutting layouts, bending allowances, laser welding, and manual/pneumatic assembly.
- Blueprint Literacy: Robust proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and nesting reports.
- Education: Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Leadership: Excellent communication skills in regional languages to direct floor operators, solve operational bottlenecks, and maintain team morale.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
