Role Overview

We are looking for a Production Supervisor / Assistant Manager to manage shop-floor production of polymer-based electrical insulators. The role will be responsible for production execution, process control, quality, productivity, manpower management, and safe manufacturing practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute daily production activities and achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Supervise injection/compression moulding, curing, crimping, bonding, assembly, trimming, and finishing processes.
- Monitor critical parameters including temperature, pressure, curing time, cycle time, material ratio, and machine settings.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, Work Instructions, Control Plans, and process standards.
- Monitor OEE, rejection, rework, cycle time, material consumption, and machine utilization.
- Manage manpower deployment, line balancing, shift allocation, and shop-floor productivity.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, PPC,



and Engineering teams for process issues and corrective actions.
- Lead 5-Why, CAPA, continuous improvement, rejection reduction, and downtime reduction initiatives.
- Drive 5S, safety, housekeeping, PPE, and EHS compliance on the shop floor.
- Prepare and review production MIS, shift reports, downtime, rejection, and productivity data.
- Support new product trials, tooling validation, process development, and process stabilization.
- Train and guide operators and shop-floor team members on process requirements and protected working practices.

Preferred Experience Experience in polymer/rubber processing, electrical insulators, automotive components, cable accessories, or similar process manufacturing will be preferred.

Candidate Profile

- Strong hands-on experience in shop-floor production and process manufacturing.
- Good understanding of moulding, curing, assembly, process parameters, and production KPIs.
- Strong team-handling, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
