Role Description The Shift Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolhapur. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day production activities during assigned shifts, ensuring that work schedules, output targets, and quality standards are consistently met.

The Shift

Manager coordinates with production staff, monitors equipment and materials, and ensures compliance with safety and operational procedures. Key tasks include assigning duties, supervising performance, resolving issues on the shop floor, and maintaining accurate shift reports and documentation.



The role also involves collaborating with other departments to support continuous improvement, minimize downtime, and maintain a safe and productive working environment.

Qualifications

- Ability to supervise shift operations, manage teams, and coordinate daily production activities in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with production planning, workflow scheduling, and monitoring performance against targets and quality standards in Metal fabrication .
- Knowledge of safety regulations, workplace health and safety practices, and incident reporting in Steel fabrication Plant.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle operational issues in real time.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for documentation, reporting, and use of production management systems.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or shift management role within manufacturing, mining, or metals industry is preferred.
- Relevant diploma or degree in engineering, industrial management, or a related field is advantageous.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolhapur and be available for rotating shifts, including evenings or weekends as required.
