Role Overview The Head of Production / Production Manager will lead end-to-end manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production. The role involves production planning, execution, team leadership, process optimization, quality assurance, cost control, and continuous improvement to achieve production targets and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and execute production operations to achieve monthly targets.
- Ensure adherence to process parameters, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Lead, motivate, and develop production teams across shifts.
- Drive productivity improvements and reduce wastage, rejection, and downtime.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth operations.
- Ensure safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor KPIs, prepare reports, and present performance insights to management.
- Manage high-volume, multi-shift manufacturing operations.
- Improve production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Required Competencies

- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent production planning and execution capability.




- Robust manufacturing process knowledge.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S.
- Understanding of quality systems and process control.
- Strong cross-functional coordination skills.
- Ability to manage high-volume, multi-shift manufacturing operations.
- Strong decision-making and crisis-management skills.
- Excellent communication and MIS reporting skills.

Experience Required

- 14+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Preference for candidates with experience in:
- Solar Glass Manufacturing
- Solar Module / Panel Manufacturing
- Glass Processing
- High-volume manufacturing environments
- Proven experience managing production teams, multiple shifts, production targets, quality, manpower, and plant operations.
- Experience in productivity improvement, process optimization, cost reduction, and OEE improvement will be preferred.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
