Job Title: Production Head – Packaging

Job Summary

Rapid Packaging Private Limited is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Production Head to manage and oversee the complete production operations of our packaging unit. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, manpower management, quality control, machine utilization, productivity, and ensuring timely completion of production targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, manage, and monitor day-to-day production activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within the given timelines.
- Manage and supervise production staff, operators, supervisors, and workers.
- Prepare production schedules according to orders and delivery requirements.
- Monitor machine utilization, production efficiency, and manpower productivity.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch departments.
- Ensure availability of raw materials and other production requirements.
- Maintain product quality as per company standards and customer specifications.
- Identify and resolve production-related issues, machine breakdowns, and operational delays.
- Minimize production wastage, rejection, and unnecessary costs.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety practices.
- Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Maintain daily production reports, records, and MIS.




- Ensure proper housekeeping and workplace safety within the production area.
- Train, guide, and motivate the production team for better productivity and performance.
- Report production status, challenges, and requirements to the management.
- Ensure timely completion of orders while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Packaging / Manufacturing / Production.
- Strong knowledge of packaging production processes and machinery.
- Proven experience in managing production teams and shop-floor operations.
- Strong production planning and manpower management skills.
- Valuable knowledge of quality control and production efficiency.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate The ideal candidate should be a hands-on production professional who can independently manage the production floor, lead the team, achieve production targets, control wastage, and ensure timely delivery of quality packaging products.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
