Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Production Head to lead and manage the overall manufacturing operations of the plant. The incumbent will be responsible for achieving production targets, ensuring optimum utilization of manpower and resources, improving productivity, maintaining quality standards, controlling manufacturing costs, and ensuring timely delivery.

The role requires solid leadership, shop-floor management, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination skills, preferably within the automotive, auto-component, fabrication, or engineering manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage end-to-end production operations to achieve daily, monthly, and annual production targets.
- Develop and execute production plans in coordination with PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, and Dispatch teams.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and production capacity.
- Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and take corrective actions to improve productivity.
- Drive initiatives to reduce rejection, rework, scrap, downtime, and manufacturing losses.
- Ensure effective manpower planning, shift management, workforce allocation,



and shop-floor discipline.
- Establish and monitor key production metrics such as OEE, productivity, rejection, downtime, and output efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to defined SOPs, work instructions, quality standards, and process parameters.
- Work closely with the Quality team to resolve process-related quality issues and reduce customer/internal rejections.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team to minimize machine breakdowns and improve equipment availability.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, Continuous Improvement, and Cost Reduction initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety, EHS, statutory, and organizational requirements across the production floor.
- Support new product development, process development, line setup, capacity planning, and product industrialization.
- Analyze production data and prepare regular MIS, productivity, downtime, rejection, and performance reports for management review.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and capacity enhancement.
- Develop and mentor Production Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, and shop-floor teams.
- Ensure effective implementation of 5S, visual management, standard work, and workplace discipline.
- Participate in management reviews and provide recommendations related to capacity, manpower, machinery, productivity, and operational improvements.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
