Position Details

Job Title: General Manager – Production

Department: Production

Location: Tatisilwai Plant, Ranchi

Reporting To: Director / Managing Director

Direct Reports: Production Managers, Assembly Supervisors, Fabrication Supervisor, PPC Executive, Shop Floor Engineers, Production Planning Team

Job Summary The General Manager – Production will be responsible for leading the complete manufacturing operations of the plant while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, cost optimization, and on-time delivery. The role involves strategic production planning, continuous process improvement, manpower management, interdepartmental coordination, and implementation of Lean Manufacturing practices.

The incumbent will be responsible for achieving production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and operational excellence.

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production or Industrial Engineering.

Experience

- 15–20 years of manufacturing experience.
- Minimum 8 years in a senior production leadership role.
- Experience in DG Set Manufacturing, Heavy Engineering, Sheet Metal, Fabrication, Industrial Equipment, Automobile, or Capital Goods industry preferred.
