Supervise fabrication and assembly activities for Drum Mix Plants and Wet Mix Plants.  Read and interpret fabrication, assembly and engineering drawings.  Plan daily fabrication activities and allocate work to welders, fitters and fabricators.  Supervise fabrication of: o Cold aggregate feed bins o Feeders and conveyors o Drying/mixing drums o Hot aggregate systems o Burner supports and assemblies o Bitumen tanks and piping supports o Filler systems o Mixing chambers o Hoppers and chutes o Structural frames and platforms o Walkways, ladders and handrails o Control room structures o Water tanks and piping supports o WMM plant mixing units and related structures  Monitor cutting, bending, drilling, fit-up, welding, grinding and assembly.  Ensure proper dimensions, alignment, level and fit-up of fabricated components.  Coordinate with Engineering and Quality Control teams regarding drawing and fabrication requirements.  Ensure production targets and delivery schedules are achieved.  Monitor welding quality and fabrication tolerances.





 Control material wastage and optimize manpower utilization.  Coordinate with Stores for availability of plates, structural sections, pipes, welding consumables and other materials.  Maintain daily production and fabrication progress reports.  Ensure proper housekeeping and secure working practices in the fabrication shop.  Supervise loading and preparation of completed components for painting, assembly and dispatch.

Required Experience Mandatory/Preferred:  2-5 years of experience in fabrication and manufacturing of Asphalt Drum Mix Plants, Wet Mix Plants, or similar road construction equipment.  Hands-on experience with heavy structural fabrication and equipment manufacturing.  Experience supervising welders, fabricators, fitters and helpers.  Practical knowledge of plant fabrication and assembly.  Experience with production planning and shop-floor manpower management.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
