About the job

Own the client-driven P2P roadmap for requests that affect implementation, renewals and existing accounts. Prioritise client requirements, work with engineering to deliver them, and confirm that each release solves the issue raised.

This hands-on product role works closely with implementation, customer success, support and engineering on an enterprise SaaS platform with contractual timelines.

Responsibilities :

Client requests and delivery

- Intake, triage and prioritisation of all requests from implementation,



onboarding and existing clients.
- The backlog of existing-client feature requests and enhancement asks — kept current, sized and defensible.
- A working partnership with customer success and support on the pain points blocking renewals or expansion.
- Acceptance criteria for client-specific and client-driven requirements, written so QA and engineering can act on them without a follow-up meeting.
- Scoping and delivery timelines agreed with engineering, and the communication of those timelines to everyone waiting on them.
- SLA tracking for client and implementation commitments, including contract-tied deadlines.
- Sprint delivery for client requests you own sprint completion rate and the scrum cadence for this track.
- Live issues, bug fixes and the technical debt that surfaces through client interactions.
- Status and timeline communication back to CS, implementation and support, without them having to chase you.
- Escalation of repeated requests upward as candidate roadmap items for the growth track.

How success is measured

- Sprint completion rate on client requests; resolution time and SLA adherence
- Fewer implementation blockers; CSAT and NPS tied to responsiveness
- Churn risk mitigated through resolution of specific product gaps

To succeed in the role

Qualifications and experience

- This one is non-negotiable: you must come from a P2P product background. The product you own today or owned most recently has to be a procure-to-pay product. We are not able to consider strong PMs from adjacent SaaS categories for this role.
- Minimum 3 years in product management, owning a product or module rather than only gathering requirements for one.
- Deep,



current knowledge of the P2P industry: who the buyers are, how procurement and finance teams actually work, who you compete with and where each of you is weak.
- You can walk us through your product end to end the workflow, the edge cases, the trade-offs you chose and why without a deck.
- Experience with enterprise clients, contractual SLAs and requirements that arrive mid-implementation.
- Comfortable running a sprint with engineering: writing stories, defining acceptance criteria, sizing with the team, holding the cadence.
- Transparent written communication. Most of this job is making a decision legible to people who were not in the room.

P2P skills and know-how

- Intake to procure: catalogue and non-catalogue requisitions, approval matrices, budget checks, purchase requests, and the politics of an approval chain.
- PO lifecycle: PO creation and amendments, blanket and service POs, partial receipts, GRN, closures.
- Invoice to pay: invoice capture and OCR, two-way and three-way matching, exception and mismatch handling, credit and debit notes, payment runs.
- Vendor lifecycle: onboarding and KYC, bank account verification, vendor master data, vendor portals and self-service.
- Compliance: GST and input credit, TDS, e-invoicing and IRN, e-way bill, audit trails and retention.
- Integrations: ERP and accounting sync SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, Zoho through APIs or file-based flows, and what breaks in the real world.
- Spend visibility: spend controls, budget consumption, and the reporting finance teams ask for after go-live.

Helpful experience

- Exposure to adjacent spend categories corporate cards, expense management, payables automation.
- Building configurable features on a multi-tenant SaaS platform, where one client's request cannot become everyone's problem.
- Working fluency with Jira and SQL, enough to answer your own questions about usage and backlog health.
- Fintech or B2B payments experience in the Indian market.
