Job Summary

Slick Blinds is looking for a Product Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background to support the design, technical specification, product development, and quality of our window covering products, including blinds, shades, and shutters.

The role involves working closely with manufacturing vendors, sourcing, operations, and internal teams to ensure products are technically accurate, production-ready, and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the design and technical development of blinds, shades, shutters, and related products.
- Prepare, review, and maintain technical drawings and product specifications for manufacturing.
- Translate product requirements into detailed engineering and manufacturing specifications.
- Work with vendors and manufacturing partners to assess production feasibility and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct quality checks on samples and production runs.
- Identify product defects and troubleshoot engineering or manufacturing issues.
- Recommend design improvements and engineering solutions.
- Maintain accurate product documentation, revisions, and version history.
- Coordinate with sourcing, operations, and other teams on product requirements and timelines.
- Support new product development from concept through production ready specifications.

Required Qualifications





- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Hands-on experience in product design, product engineering, or manufacturing engineering.
- Ability to read, create, and review technical/engineering drawings.
- Solid understanding of mechanical and manufacturing concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Must be willing to work on-site in Hyderabad.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in window coverings, furniture, home goods, or related manufacturing industries.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Experience working with manufacturing vendors, factories, or suppliers.
- Knowledge of product testing and quality control.
- Experience in new product development and production processes.
