Role Description The Product Designer will be responsible for designing leather-based interior products and surface solutions that align with Fabiti’s brand and client requirements. This full-time, on-site role in Delhi, India involves translating project briefs into detailed design concepts, creating visual design assets, and collaborating closely with architects, interior designers, and internal teams. Day-to-day activities include conducting user and market research, developing design prototypes, refining materials, finishes, and detailing, and preparing transparent specifications for production.

Designer will work with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and consistent with Fabiti’s aesthetic and quality standards, while supporting continuous improvement of the product portfolio.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Product Design and Visual Design skills for creating premium interior surfaces and product concepts.
- Candidates should possess Design Thinking capabilities to solve problems creatively and translate client needs into functional, aesthetic solutions.
- Candidates should possess User Research and UX Research skills to understand stakeholder requirements, usage patterns, and real-world constraints in interior spaces.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, CAD or 3D tools) and documentation of design specifications.
- Candidates should possess an eye for materials, color, texture, and detailing, ideally with familiarity or interest in leather and high-end interior finishes.
- Candidates should possess strong collaboration and communication skills to work with architects, designers, production teams, and clients.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Product Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in luxury interiors, furniture, surfaces, or architectural products is an advantage.
