We are looking for a talented Procurement Specialist to join our growing team in India and play a key role in building a strong, cost-effective, and reliable supply chain.

What You'll Do

- Manage end-to-end purchasing activities including RFQs, purchase orders, supplier communication, order confirmations, and delivery monitoring.
- Drive strategic sourcing initiatives and identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Lead supplier negotiations covering pricing, contracts, quality, and delivery performance.
- Develop and manage suppliers in India and international markets.
- Ensure material availability to support production and customer commitments.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Global Procurement teams.
- Contribute to procurement process improvements, governance, and best practices.
- Support the long-term development of the procurement function and supply chain strategy in India.

What We Are Looking For

Education

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Professional qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.

Experience




- Minimum 5 years of procurement or purchasing experience within a manufacturing or multinational environment.
- Experience in sourcing sheet metal components and welded assemblies.
- Strong background in supplier management and contract negotiations.
- Exposure to supplier development and strategic sourcing activities.
- Experience working with SAP, preferably the MM module.
- Initial leadership, project management, or cross-functional project experience is advantageous.

Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong commercial and business acumen.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing methodologies, and supplier relationship management.
- Ability to analyse costs and identify value optimisation opportunities.
- Good understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
