We are looking for a Procurement Manager to manage the end-to-end procurement function at ScrapEco. The role will be responsible for sourcing machines, machinery spare parts, maintenance materials, tools, equipment, consumables, technicians, service providers, and other operational requirements across multiple sites.

The role requires solid vendor management, negotiation, cost optimization, procurement planning, and coordination with Operations, Maintenance, Finance, Site Teams, and Management. The candidate should be comfortable handling urgent requirements and managing procurement across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

- Manage the complete procurement cycle from requirement identification and supplier sourcing to delivery and documentation.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, manufacturers, dealers, technicians, and service providers across different procurement categories.
- Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery timelines, warranties, and service conditions.
- Procure machinery, equipment, tools, spare parts, electrical/mechanical components, and maintenance consumables as required.
- Develop and manage a reliable vendor and service provider network across ScrapEco's operating locations.
- Monitor vendor performance based on price, quality, delivery, service, and responsiveness, and develop alternative suppliers where required.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through price benchmarking, negotiations, bulk purchasing, local sourcing, rate contracts, and alternate vendor development.
- Coordinate procurement requirements across multiple sites and prioritize critical requirements to avoid operational delays and machine downtime.




- Plan procurement and coordinate inventory levels for critical spare parts and consumables in line with maintenance requirements.
- Maintain purchase orders, work orders, quotations, comparative statements, vendor records, delivery records, service records, and procurement MIS.

Requirements

- 4–6 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, waste management, machinery, or operations-related environments.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end procurement process and vendor management.
- Experience in sourcing machinery, spare parts, maintenance materials, tools, equipment, and operational consumables.
- Strong negotiation, quotation comparison, price benchmarking, and cost optimization skills.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and coordinate with Operations and Maintenance/Engineering teams.
- Experience managing vendors and service providers across multiple locations.
- Strong planning and coordination skills with the ability to handle urgent and critical procurement requirements.
- Good understanding of inventory planning, critical spare identification, and preventive maintenance requirements.
- Strong documentation and MIS management skills, including POs, work orders, comparative statements, vendor records, and delivery/service records.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with Operations, Site Managers, Finance & Accounts, Administration, HR, and Management.

Pay: ₹35,599.40 - ₹55,867.96 per month
