As our current Procurement Lead for India, you’ll play a key role in leading and delivering our Direct Procurement strategy across the country, ensuring we have the right suppliers, materials and commercial partnerships to support our operations and growth.

Working closely with our India leadership team, local stakeholders and the wider Global Procurement function, you’ll lead procurement activity across raw materials and packaging, developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier performance and strengthening key supplier relationships. You’ll identify opportunities to improve supply security, reduce costs and working capital, while also leveraging global procurement opportunities to deliver value for the wider Scott Bader Group.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of procurement in India, making a direct impact on our local operations while helping shape and deliver Scott Bader’s global procurement strategy.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead and deliver the India Procurement strategy across key raw materials and packaging categories.
- Develop sourcing strategies that strengthen supply security, optimise costs and improve working capital.
- Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, agreements and performance across India.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, R&T; and other stakeholders to align procurement priorities.
- Ensure Procurement activities meet Scott Bader’s EHS, ethical, sustainability, quality and compliance standards.

What we’re looking for:

- Strong experience in direct procurement, ideally within a manufacturing or processing environment.
- Proven experience developing category strategies, managing suppliers and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and identify opportunities.
- Experience in the chemicals, coatings, paints, adhesives, FMCG or similar manufacturing sectors.




- Experience working across international or multi-site organisations.
