Role Description The Procurement Assistant is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities. This role involves preparing and processing purchase orders, maintaining accurate procurement records, and coordinating with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and timelines.

The Procurement

Assistant will communicate with suppliers to request quotes, track order status, and resolve delivery or invoicing issues. The role also includes monitoring inventory or supply levels, analyzing pricing and terms, and assisting in the optimization of procurement processes to support cost-effective,



compliant operations at Taxcart.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Purchasing and Procurement to support sourcing, vendor coordination, and purchasing decisions.
- Candidates should possess skills in handling Purchase Orders, including creation, tracking, documentation, and accuracy checks.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to review data, compare pricing and terms, and support process improvements.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Knowledge of basic finance or accounting concepts and familiarity with ERP or procurement systems are beneficial.
- Robust attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are expected.
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing administration, or supply chain support is a plus.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
