Role: Process Quality Engineer

Location: Udyog Nagar, Delhi (On-site)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: 12,000 - 18,000 per month (based on skills and experience)

Working Day/Shift: Monday to Saturday - 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM / Shift Rotation (Days & Night)

Role Summary:

As a Process Quality Engineer at ADC, you will ensure process control, defect prevention, and continuous improvement in manufacturing quality (Product & Process). You will work closely with Production, Maintenance, and NPD teams to implement robust quality systems that comply with IATF 16949 & customer-specific requirements. Your focus will be on Process & Product Inspection, data-driven improvement, and root cause analysis to achieve zero-defect targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and control process and product parameters to ensure consistent product conformity.
- Track daily production and rejection trends, and perform rejection Pareto analysis to identify key improvement areas.
- Conduct in-process inspections, including first piece and last piece approvals at production start and end.
- Perform root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and Pareto Analysis, and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Monitor machine abnormalities and prepare machine breakdown reports for timely maintenance follow-up.
- Conduct Incoming Quality Inspection (IQC)



and prepare Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) reports.
- Lead problem-solving activities (8D reports) for process and product issues to ensure timely closure of non-conformities (NCs).
- Promote and sustain Kaizen, 5S, and Poka-Yoke initiatives across the production area.
- Participate in internal quality audits and provide support during IATF and customer audits.

Highest Educational Requirements:

- Diploma / B. Tech Mechanical Engineering (Required)

Experience Requirements:

- 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in Process Quality Control, Incoming Quality Control (IQC), and Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) within manufacturing, die-casting, or machining industries.
- Hands-on experience in Rejection Analysis, PQC, IQC, PDI, and implementation of 7 QC Tools for problem-solving and process improvement.
- Freshers with solid technical knowledge and a willingness to learn may also be considered.

Skills Required:

- In-depth knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Height Gauge, Micrometer, Roughness Tester, Dial Gauge, Bore Gauge, Radius Gauge, and Chamfer Gauge.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using tools like 8D, 5 Why, and Ishikawa Diagram.
- Good understanding of die-casting, machining, and assembly process quality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and quality documentation.
- Experience in internal complaint handling and line quality improvement activities.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
- Awareness of Safety, 5S, Kaizen, and 7 QC Tools concepts.
- Knowledge and understanding of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and engineering drawing interpretation.
