Job Summary

Act as Technical/Solution Expert for Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN. Plan, Transition, Transformation, Greenfield/organic growth deployment and support for SDWAN products. Lead all project activities end-to-end from a project delivery perspective for the entire SDWAN solution, and coordinate with different SDWAN vendors, partners, and service providers as needed.

Responsibilities

- Act as Technical/Solution Expert for Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN across architecture, design, deployment, migration, and operations
- Understand complex SDWAN design and translate customer requirements into appropriate solution recommendations
- Prepare Site Requirements, High Level Design (HLD), Low Level Design (LLD), and Acceptance Test Plan documents for all assigned projects
- Lead all project activities end-to-end including HOTO from a project delivery perspective
- Plan and execute Greenfield and Brownfield SD-WAN deployments, migration planning, and integration with existing enterprise infrastructure
- Configure Prisma SD-WAN Controllers and ION Devices, Hub-Spoke and Full Mesh Architectures, Application-Aware Routing, Path Selection Policies, QoS and SLA-Based Routing, Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP), and Segmentation and Multi-Tenant Deployments
- Implement and troubleshoot Prisma SD-WAN CloudBlades and integrate with Zscaler ZIA/ZPA, Prisma Access, ServiceNow, Azure, AWS, and GCP
- Provide improvement opportunities and recommendations on SDWAN setup, design, and product features
- Provide training to operations teams (L1/L2) and support the operations manager to set up service delivery processes
- Coordinate with different SDWAN vendors, partners,



and service providers as required
- Provide L3/SME support and mentor junior engineers

Requirements

- 8-12 years of experience in Enterprise Networking, SD-WAN, SASE, and Security technologies within customer-facing environments
- Palo Alto Networks Certified SD-WAN Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with Prisma SD-WAN architecture, design, deployment, migration, and operations (mandatory)
- Expert-level knowledge of routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Route Redistribution, Policy-Based Routing, VRF-Lite, QoS, and High Availability Architectures
- Proven experience in leading network transformation, SD-WAN migration, and cloud connectivity projects across enterprise and multi-site environments
- Experience designing and supporting Branch, Campus, Data Center, and Multi-Cloud network architectures
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Overlay and Underlay networks
- Ability to create HLD, LLD, Migration Runbooks, and Implementation Plans
- Understanding and hands-on exposure to SASE, Cloud Secure Web Gateway, Cloud-delivered Firewall, CASB, and MFA

Nice to Have

- ITIL certification

- Other SDWAN OEM certifications
- Knowledge of automation using Python, Ansible, REST API, JSON, and Postman
- Positive understanding of WAN transports including MPLS, DIA, and LTE
- Experience supporting Proof of Concepts (PoCs), pilot deployments, and production rollouts
