Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Print-on-Demand (POD) Operations Manager to manage and oversee daily production, digital printing operations, order fulfilment, quality control, workflow planning, and team coordination. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in digital printing, POD operations, production management, and print workflow systems.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end Print-on-Demand and digital printing operations.

Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production based on order requirements and deadlines.

Coordinate artwork, pre-press, printing, finishing, packing, and dispatch activities.

Monitor digital printing machines, equipment performance, and production capacity.

Ensure accurate colour, print quality, finishing, and adherence to customer specifications.

Manage high-volume and customised print orders efficiently.

Coordinate with designers, production teams, suppliers, vendors, sales, and logistics.

Monitor raw materials, paper, inks, consumables, and packaging inventory.





Identify production delays and implement quick solutions to maintain delivery schedules.

Develop and maintain SOPs for printing, quality control, production, and fulfilment.

Track production KPIs, wastage, turnaround time, productivity, and operational costs.

Supervise, train, and motivate production and operations staff.

Ensure workplace safety and proper maintenance of printing equipment.

Handle customer-specific requirements and resolve production-related issues.

Required Experience & Skills

3–5+ years of experience in Digital Printing / Print-on-Demand / Printing Operations.

Strong hands-on knowledge of digital printing processes and production workflows.

Experience with digital printers, finishing equipment, RIP/software, and pre-press processes.

Knowledge of colour management, print quality standards, and print materials.

Strong production planning and team management skills.

Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines simultaneously.

Good knowledge of inventory, costing, wastage control, and quality management.

Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and relevant printing/production management software.

Preferred

Experience in e-commerce POD, customised merchandise, commercial digital printing, signage, or large-format printing.

Knowledge of automated order-processing and POD workflow systems.

Experience managing high-volume, fast-turnaround production environments.
