A SEBI-registered Category I merchant banking and investment banking firm is hiring a senior Equity Capital Markets syndication leader to drive and scale its ECM syndication franchise.

The role carries ownership of revenue, institutional investor coverage, syndication strategy, placements, book building and closure of ECM transactions.

Key responsibilities

- Own and grow the ECM syndication business - revenue, franchise development and institutional placement capability
- Work with origination leadership to convert mandates into successfully marketed and closed transactions
- Build and leverage senior relationships across Mutual Funds, FPIs / FIIs, Insurance Companies, PMS, AIFs and Family Offices - fund managers, CIOs and investment teams
- Maintain detailed investor mapping - sector preferences, ticket sizes, appetite, participation and allocation history
- Lead end-to-end syndication for IPOs,



QIPs, FPOs, Rights Issues, Block Trades and other equity / equity-linked transactions
- Own investor strategy, demand generation, book building and allocation; lead roadshows and deal marketing
- Provide strategic input on valuation, pricing, structure and timing to issuers and senior management
- Build, mentor and lead the ECM syndication / institutional coverage team

We are looking for a business leader with revenue and franchise-building orientation, not purely an execution qualified. A demonstrable track record of syndicating sizeable equity transactions and an established senior network across domestic and international institutional investors is essential.
