Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Power BI & Microsoft Fabric Developer to join our growing data analytics team in Chennai. In this role, you will play a key part in converting raw business data into dynamic dashboards while supporting our deployment of unified data solutions. You will collaborate with data teams and business units to build reliable reporting structures and maximize the value of the Microsoft Fabric platform .

Key Responsibilities

- Dashboard Creation: Build and optimize high-performing Power BI reports and semantic models tailored to business needs.
- Data Prep: Clean, reshape, and transform complex datasets using Power Query (Dataflows Gen2) and write solid DAX queries.
- Fabric Support: Assist in configuring and managing modern data assets within Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Data Factory pipelines, and Lakehouses.
- Data Architecture: Design robust star-schema data models and establish secure Row-Level Security (RLS) guardrails.
- Team Synergy: Partner with senior engineers to troubleshoot query bottlenecks, validate data accuracy,



and track Fabric capacity usage.

Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills:

- Power BI Ecosystem: Minimum 1 year of practical, day-to-day experience building reports in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Microsoft Fabric: Foundational knowledge or early exposure to Fabric components like OneLake, Lakehouse tables, and DirectLake connectivity.
- Database Basics: Robust grasp of relational databases, including writing SQL queries and executing standard table joins.
- DAX & Power Query: Competency in handling intermediate DAX equations and cleaning unstructured data sources.
- Cloud Environments: Understanding of fundamental cloud data concepts, modern warehouses, or Delta Parquet file formats.

Soft Skills:

- Logical problem solver with an analytical approach to data challenges.
- Effective communicator who can translate technical data into easy-to-understand visual stories.
- Fast learner eager to adapt to new features in the Microsoft ecosystem.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics, or a related field.
