Position Name:- Power BI Developer/ Analyst

The Power BI Developer/Analyst is responsible for maintaining and supporting Meeder's existing

Power BI reporting environment, including the underlying SQL data that feeds it. Reporting to the

VP, Information Technology, this role executes report maintenance and support work under the direction of Meeder's Technology team and business stakeholders rather than owning or setting the reporting roadmap.

This role is staffed by the same technology vendor supporting Meeder's CRM and data warehouse modernization project, so the day-to-day knowledge this person builds of Meeder's current Power

BI and SQL reporting environment can be shared directly with the modernization project team. The scope of this role is intentionally limited to maintaining and supporting existing reports (business as usual support and resolution of critical issues); it does not include building the next generation of reporting or other new development work, which remains with the modernization project team.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role well suited to someone with strong Power BI and SQL skills who can make incremental changes to existing reports accurately, fix issues in existing dashboards, and follow documented processes precisely (which this person will help create,

during an initial knowledge-transfer overlap with the current Power BI reporting team member).

The Power BI Developer/Analyst partners closely with business stakeholders on report requirements and with Meeder's Technology team on any changes to data sources or infrastructure, escalating anything outside documented procedure to the VP, Information

Technology.

Success in this role looks like accurate, reliable Power BI dashboards, timely resolution of critical issues, business stakeholders who experience day-to-day reporting support as dependable and responsive, and a modernization project team that benefits from this role's ongoing knowledge of the current environment.

Roles and Responsiblities :-





Power BI Report Maintenance & Support

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing production reports, including data accuracy problems and refresh failures.

Make incremental changes to existing Power BI dashboards for business stakeholders (e.g.,

Asset Reporting, Duration, and investment dashboards) as requested, keeping new development to a minimum.

Support Power BI report troubleshooting and data validation for existing reports, including

Public Funds pool reporting (e.g., STAR Ohio and similar programs), in partnership with the

CRM & Data Integration Analyst.

Support advisor territory mapping projects (e.g., Power BI-based advisor maps) in partnership with the CRM & Data Integration Analyst and Sales stakeholders.

Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation of report logic, data sources, and known issues to support consistent execution and knowledge continuity.

SQL & Data Pipeline Support

Build and maintain SQL tables and queries that feed Power BI dashboards, incorporating new data (e.g., quarterly asset reporting extracts) as provided by business stakeholders.

Validate incoming data before it is loaded into reporting tables, flagging discrepancies to the relevant stakeholder before proceeding.

Coordinate with the CRM & Data Integration Analyst on shared data used across CRM and

Power BI reporting.

Stakeholder Support & Collaboration

Gather report change requests directly from business stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Investments,

Fund Accounting), scoping the work and confirming requirements before making changes.





Respond to day-to-day Power BI questions and issues in a timely and professional manner.

Escalate requests that require recent data sources, infrastructure changes, new report development, or fall outside documented procedures to the VP, Information Technology.

Share day-to-day knowledge of the current Power BI and SQL reporting environment with the

CRM/data warehouse modernization project team to support a smooth transition.

Must Have :-

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

7+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards in a business environment.

Strong working knowledge of SQL, including writing and maintaining queries that feed reporting tools.

Strong attention to detail and comfort validating data accuracy before it reaches a production report.

Comfort working independently against documented procedures and stakeholder requests,

with clear escalation when something falls outside them.

Strong written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with U.S.-based stakeholders across time zones.

Experience within investment management, financial services, or another regulated industry.

Experience with Power BI DAX measures, data modeling, and performance tuning of larger datasets.

Experience supporting CRM-adjacent or advisor/sales analytics reporting.

Basic familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM data structures.

Experience supporting a legacy or production reporting environment during an active system modernization or migration.

Qualification & skills:-
