Power BI Developer — UI/UX Focus (Immediate Joiner)

1. 5+ years of BI/reporting experience with significant hands-on Microsoft Power BI development experience.
2. Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query/M, and Power BI semantic models.
3. Strong UI/UX and dashboard design skills with demonstrated experience creating intuitive, visually compelling, user-centered Power BI reports.
4. Strong understanding of data visualization and storytelling, including information hierarchy, layout, navigation, typography, spacing, color usage, and visual consistency. PowerBI Developer
5. Experience developing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes and translating them into production Power BI dashboards; Figma, Adobe XD, or similar experience is preferred.
6. Strong experience with advanced Power BI functionality such as bookmarks, drill-through, tooltips, field parameters, slicers, dynamic navigation, and interactive visual experiences.
7. Strong understanding of semantic modeling,



dimensional/star-schema design, DAX measures, and reusable business calculations.
8. Experience with Power BI performance optimization and security, including Row-Level Security (RLS), workspace security, and deployment practices.
9. Experience migrating and modernizing legacy BI reports—particularly Cognos to Power BI—including assessing which reports should be migrated, redesigned, consolidated, or retired. PowerBI Developer
10. Solid business and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to understand user workflows and KPIs and translate requirements into polished, production-ready reporting experiences.

Nice to have: Figma/Adobe XD, Microsoft Fabric/Azure, Azure DevOps/Git, Power BI deployment pipelines, accessibility design, and experience modernizing Cognos/Tableau/Qlik reporting
