- Flock Management &
- Animal Welfare:

Monitor bird health, growth rates, and feed conversion ratios daily. Ensure proper vaccination, medication schedules, and humane living conditions.

- Operations &

- Facility Maintenance:

Oversee feeding, watering, lighting, and climate control systems (ventilation and heating). Ensure barns and equipment are clean, functional, and well-maintained.

- Staff Leadership: Hire, train, supervise, and schedule farm workers. Delegate daily tasks and enforce safety and biosecurity protocols.

- Feed &

- Inventory Management:

Monitor feed quality and stock levels. Order supplies, medicines, equipment, and raw materials as needed while minimizing waste.

- Record Keeping &

- Compliance:

Maintain accurate daily logs of mortality rates, feed consumption, egg production/weight gain, and expenses. Ensure compliance with local agricultural, environmental, and animal welfare regulations.

- Financial &

- Supply Chain Oversight:

Help manage the farm budget,



track operational costs, and coordinate with vendors, veterinarians, and buyers for product distribution.

Key Requirements &

- Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Poultry Science, Agriculture, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).

- Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial poultry farming (broilers or layers), with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role.

- Technical Skills: Robust understanding of poultry nutrition, disease prevention, automated feeding/ventilation systems, and biosecurity standards.

- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, physical stamina for farm environments, leadership, and basic computer skills for record-keeping.
