Role Objective We are looking for a skilled Podcast Reel Editor who can turn selected podcast clips into engaging, high-quality reels and shorts.

The Content Strategist will provide the selected clips, timestamps and content direction. Your responsibility will be to edit those clips into strong short-form videos that capture attention, maintain viewer interest, and emotions.

Key Responsibilities

- Podcast Reel Editing
- Edit selected podcast clips into engaging reels and shorts.
- Create a solid opening hook within the first few seconds.
- Maintain a smooth flow and clear visual highly engaging story throughout the reels.
- Retention-Focused Editing
- Use pacing, cuts and visual changes to keep viewers engaged.
- Highlight important words without making the screen look crowded.
- Add suitable B-roll, images, graphics, screenshots or visual references where required.
- Use pattern interrupts, zooms and transitions only where they improve the content.
- Sound and Visual Quality
- Clean and balance dialogue audio.
- Add suitable background music and sound effects.
- Maintain consistent colour, lighting and visual quality.
- Follow the creator's editing style and brand guidelines.
- Ensure that the speaker's message remains natural and easy to understand.
- Team Coordination
- Understand the brief shared by the Content Strategist.
- Ask questions when the content direction is unclear.
- Submit drafts within the assigned timeline.
- Make corrections based on feedback.
- Maintain project files, source files and final exports in an organised manner.




- Update the task status and final links in Notion or the assigned workflow system.

Required Editing Skills

- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects
- Podcast and talking-head reel editing
- Audio cleaning and sound design
- B-roll and visual selection
- Motion graphics and basic animation
- Colour correction and export settings
- Understanding of hooks, pacing and audience retention
- Ability to edit Hindi, Hinglish and English content accurately

You Must Understand

- What makes viewers stop scrolling
- How the first three seconds affect retention
- How to turn a conversation into a tight short-form video
- When to use subtitles, B-roll, graphics and sound effects
- How editing styles differ across Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Facebook Reels
- Indian audience preferences for podcast and self-improvement content

Ideal Candidate

- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant video-editing experience
- Has edited podcast reels, talking-head content, interviews or educational videos.
- Has a strong portfolio of short-form videos.
- Can follow a creative brief while adding helpful editing judgement.
- Pay attention to language, subtitles, audio and visual details.
- Accepts feedback positively and completes revisions on time.
- Can manage multiple assigned reels without missing deadlines.
- Is organised, responsible and consistent.

Compensation INR 25,000 - INR 40,000 per month, based on editing ability, experience, portfolio and performance in the practical test.
