Role Description The PLC Automation Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for designing, programming, testing, and commissioning PLC-based automation solutions for industrial clients, ensuring reliable and efficient process control.

The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate functional requirements into automation logic, integrate PLCs with sensors, drives, and industrial networks, and IIoT-enabled systems where applicable. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and resolving control system issues, optimizing automation performance, preparing technical documentation, and supporting installation,



commissioning and upgrades of control panels and field devices. The role also involves ensuring compliance with safety standards, participating in FAT/SAT activities, and providing technical support and training to operations teams.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Automation and Process Control skills, including PLC programming, HMI/SCADA configuration, and control loop tuning.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering skills, such as understanding control circuits, panel design, instrumentation, and industrial safety standards.
- Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing PLC, field device, communication, and control system issues in live industrial environments.
- Candidates should have exposure to the industrial communication protocol skills ( (e.g., OPC-UA, Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP)) for integrating field devices and automated systems with PLCs.
- Relevant qualifications include a degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering field, along with experience in industrial automation projects.
- Additional beneficial skills include familiarity with industrial control infrastructure and documentation using industry-standard tools.
- Candidate with PLC programming & development background is preferred.
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, effective communication, and the capability to work safely in industrial in office environments are essential.
