Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced PLC Officer / PLC Operator with hands-on experience in chemical/process plant operations and PLC-based process control. The candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring plant processes through PLC/DCS systems, maintaining process parameters, and ensuring safe and efficient plant operations. This role is strictly for PLC-based plant operations and process control, not PLC repair or maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate and monitor PLC/DCS-controlled chemical plant processes.

- Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, level, pH, and other critical parameters.
- Operate the plant from the control room/panel as per SOPs and operating procedures.
- Monitor PLC screens, alarms, trends, interlocks, and process conditions.
- Start, stop, and control plant equipment and processes through PLC/DCS systems.
- Ensure smooth and continuous plant operation as per production requirements.
- Coordinate with field operators, production, maintenance, and quality teams.
- Identify process abnormalities and take appropriate operational actions.
- Maintain proper shift logs, production records, and process data.
- Follow safety procedures, SOPs, work permits, and process safety requirements.




- Support troubleshooting of process-related issues in coordination with the maintenance team.
- Ensure optimum process parameters and minimize process deviations.

Required Skills

* Hands-on experience in PLC-based chemical/process plant operations.

- Good understanding of process control and plant operations.
- Experience in PLC/DCS control room operations.
- Knowledge of process parameters, alarms, interlocks, and control systems.
- Ability to monitor and operate chemical processes through PLC/DCS.
- Valuable understanding of chemical plant safety and SOPs.
- Good shift-handling and coordination skills.

Important Requirement

Candidates must have actual experience as a PLC/Panel/Process Operator in a chemical or process plant.

- PLC Repair/Maintenance Engineers
- PLC Programmers
- Electrical Maintenance Engineers
- Electronics Maintenance Engineers
- PLC Automation Service Engineers
- Candidates whose experience is only in PLC programming, troubleshooting, or repair

Preferred Candidate Profile

* Diploma in Chemical Engineering preferred.

- 3–5 years of experience in chemical/process plant operations.
- Experience in PLC/DCS-controlled manufacturing processes.
- Candidates from chemical manufacturing, specialty chemicals, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, or other process industries will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
