Responsible for safe, productive, and quality-focused operation of the epoxy hardener manufacturing plant during the assigned shift, including manpower management, batch production, process control, equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing shift schedule for Shift incharge and Plant operator.
- Providing process and safety training.
- Process management and co-ordination with quality department for smooth running of process.
- Planning for drum, IBC filling.
- Plant start-up and shut-down planning as per discussion with top management.
- Planning for procuring of raw material and packing materials.
- Providing requisition for raw material and packing materials.
- Raw material and finished goods stock management.
- Stock verification and closing based on physical and SAP quantity
- Management of safety and housekeeping in plant and surrounding area
- Manpower management
- Maintaining and preparing daily & monthly production data and report
- Daily production entry and closing in SAP
- FG storage planning based on filling requirement
Qualifications:
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, or related discipline.
- Typically, 8 to 10 years of experience in chemical/process manufacturing, preferably epoxy resin, epoxy hardener, adhesives, coatings, or specialty chemicals.
- Experience with batch reactors and chemical manufacturing processes is preferred.
