A glass processing manufacturer (tempered, laminated and IGU glass) is hiring a Plant Head, reporting to the COO, with all department heads - Production, Quality, Maintenance, HR, Stores and EHS - reporting in.

Key responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day plant operations across production, maintenance, quality and logistics; own OEE, yield, downtime, wastage and rework KPIs

- Convert demand into executable production plans with SCM and sales; ensure OTIF delivery of processed glass

- Build a high-performance culture across a multi-disciplinary team; ensure statutory compliance and harmonious industrial relations

- Establish strict quality systems (ISO, BIS, ASTM, client standards); resolve customer complaints with root-cause elimination

- Drive preventive and predictive maintenance of tempering furnaces, CNC and lamination lines





- Drive cost reduction through lean manufacturing, energy savings and waste minimisation

- Own safety, health and setting - zero accidents and full compliance (Factories Act, Pollution Board)

- Implement CapEx projects and continuous improvement - Kaizen, 5S, TPM, Six Sigma

Must have: at least 10 years in a leadership role in glass processing or related industries (facade, architectural glass, automotive glass) or auto ancillary manufacturing, with hands-on knowledge of tempering, IGU, lamination, cutting and edge grinding. Greenfield / brownfield plant experience is an advantage.
