Experience 10–12 Years

Qualification B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering – Mandatory Preferred Project Experience Candidates with prior experience in Data Center / Mission Critical projects will be strongly preferred.

Primavera P6 – Mandatory Role Summary The Planning Lead – Civil will be responsible for developing, managing and monitoring the overall project planning and scheduling framework for the Data Center project from the pre-construction and planning stage through construction, commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Master Scheduling

- Establish the project WBS, activity structure, logic, durations, milestones and critical path. • Develop phase-wise and area-wise construction schedules for the Data Center project.
- Establish baseline programs and monitor subsequent schedule updates.

1. Pre-Construction Planning

- Develop the project programme from the planning/design stage prior to commencement of construction.
- Integrate design development, authority approvals, tendering, procurement and construction activities. 3. Civil & Construction Planning Develop and monitor detailed planning for:
- Site development and enabling works
- Earthwork and excavation
- Foundations
- Coordinate construction sequencing across different project phases and work fronts.

1. Design & BIM Coordination

- Incorporate design deliverables and approval milestones into the master programme.
- Track submission, review, approval and release of design and IFC drawings.




- Monitor design-related constraints affecting construction.
- Coordinate with the Design Coordinator/BIM team regarding design progress and critical interfaces.
- Ensure design activities are aligned with construction requirements and project milestones.

1. Procurement Planning

- Integrate procurement activities into the master project schedule.
- Identify long-lead and critical materials/equipment.
- Collect and validate progress data from contractors and discipline leads.
- Review contractor schedules and progress updates.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Conduct delay and impact analysis where required.
- Identify reasons for schedule slippages and coordinate corrective actions.
- Track constraint closure and ensure activities are ready before their planned start dates.

1. MEP & Multidisciplinary Interface Planning Although the position is Civil-focused, the Planning Lead will be responsible for integrating multidisciplinary activities into the overall project programme. Coordinate interfaces between: CSA Mechanical Electrical ELV Interior/Finishing Testing & Commissioning • Ensure civil/structural activities are completed in the required sequence to facilitate MEP installation.





- Monitor key interface milestones between construction and specialist Data Center systems. 10. Resource & Productivity Monitoring
- Monitor planned versus actual manpower and major equipment deployment.
- Review contractor productivity against planned targets.
- Identify resource constraints affecting project progress.
- Highlight manpower, equipment or work-front requirements to the Project Director.

1. Testing, Commissioning & Handover Planning

- Integrate testing and commissioning activities into the overall project programme.
- Coordinate construction completion and system handover milestones.
- Monitor readiness of areas/systems for testing and commissioning.
- Coordinate with the Commissioning Coordinator for commissioning schedules.
- Incorporate punch-list closure, documentation and handover activities into the project schedule. Data Center Experience – Preferred Candidates with experience in Data Center / Mission Critical projects will be strongly preferred. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in:
- Data Center construction sequencing and work-front planning.
- Long-lead equipment and procurement planning.
- Testing, commissioning and handover planning.
- Experience in developing and managing Master Schedules
