Planning & Billing Engineer – C&I;

Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical or related Engineering

Job Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly project planning schedules for C&I; erection, installation, testing and commissioning activities.
- Monitor project progress against the approved baseline schedule and work plan.
- Prepare daily progress reports (DPR), weekly progress reports (WPR), and monthly progress reports (MPR).
- Prepare and maintain BOQ, quantity tracking, measurement sheets and work-progress records.
- Prepare RA Bills / Running Account Bills based on actual site measurements and executed quantities.
- Coordinate with the site execution, QA/QC, client and project management teams for measurement and billing certification.
- Verify BOQ quantities, client-approved measurements and billing documents before submission.
- Track material consumption, manpower deployment and work progress against planned quantities.
- Prepare billing abstracts, reconciliation statements, quantity statements and supporting documents.
- Maintain records of extra items, deviation quantities, additional works and variation orders.




- Coordinate with the client for joint measurements, bill certification and billing-related clarifications.
- Identify delays, monitor critical activities and update the project team regarding schedule deviations.
- Maintain proper documentation of work orders, drawings, approved BOQ, measurement books, client instructions and billing records.
- Assist the Project Manager in cost monitoring, resource planning and progress analysis.
- Prepare progress charts, MIS reports and other project-related documentation as required.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of C&I; erection and installation activities in FGD / Thermal Power Plant projects.
- Robust understanding of BOQ, quantity calculation, measurement and RA billing.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Project / Primavera and MS Office.
- Ability to prepare DPR, WPR, MPR, billing statements and MIS reports.
- Positive coordination and communication skills with client and site execution teams.
- Ability to independently manage planning, quantity tracking and billing documentation.

Preferred Experience Experience in FGD, Thermal Power Plant, Power Plant C&I;, Instrumentation Erection, Cable Laying, Instrument Installation, DCS/PLC, Junction Box, Cable Tray and Testing & Commissioning will be preferred.

Pay: ₹14,094.13 - ₹25,000.00 per month
