Senior Planning Engineer with hands on PrimervaP6 – Real Estate Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to join our real estate development team in Mangalore. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, coordination, monitoring, and reporting for residential and commercial construction projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge, site coordination skills, and the ability to ensure timely project execution within budget and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed project schedules using Primavera.
- Develop construction planning strategies and monitor project timelines.
- Track project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and site teams.
- Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and resource allocation.
- Identify project delays and suggest corrective actions.
- Review BOQs, project drawings, and execution plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and statutory requirements.
- Support procurement and billing teams with planning inputs.
- Conduct site visits and progress reviews across projects.
- Maintain project documentation and MIS reports.
- Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and project milestones.

Required Skills




- Strong knowledge of construction planning and project management.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, and Excel.
- Understanding of residential and commercial building construction.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of project execution, timelines, and cost control.

Qualification
- B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Additional certification in Project Planning or Primavera is preferred.

Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in planning and execution for real estate or construction projects.
- Experience in high-rise residential or commercial developments preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience working with reputed real estate developers or construction firms.
- Familiarity with local construction practices and approvals in Karnataka.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
