We are looking for a proactive and target-oriented Placement Head to lead our placement operations and build strong relationships with companies and recruitment partners.

Job Responsibilities

- Develop and execute the placement strategy for Route Academy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with companies, HR managers, recruiters, and industry partners.
- Identify and map potential employers across Kerala and other key employment markets in South India.
- Generate placement opportunities for students from Data Analytics, Accounting & Finance, and Logistics & Supply Chain Management programs.
- Conduct corporate outreach through calls, emails, LinkedIn and direct company visits.
- Coordinate with HR teams and recruitment agencies to generate interviews and job opportunities.
- Arrange campus recruitment drives, interviews, assessments and hiring events.
- Coordinate student profiles, resumes and interview preparation with the academic team.
- Maintain a database of companies, recruiters, job openings and placement activities.




- Track placement leads, interviews, selections, offers and joining status.
- Develop long-term corporate partnerships and explore MOUs and recurring recruitment opportunities.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with companies and recruiters.
- Coordinate with faculty and academic teams to understand student skills and job readiness.
- Prepare regular placement reports and submit performance updates to management.
- Meet placement targets and improve the overall placement conversion rate.
- Represent Route Academy during corporate meetings, recruitment events, job fairs and industry interactions.
- Be willing to travel for company visits, corporate meetings and placement activities whenever required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

We prefer candidates with

- 1–2 years of experience in the education, training, skill-development or edtech sector.
- Experience specifically in placement, corporate relations, career services, recruitment or business development will be highly preferred.
- Strong preference for candidates who have experience or understanding of:
- Data Analytics / Data Analyst roles
- Accounting & Finance
- Logistics & Supply Chain
- Existing contacts with HR professionals, recruiters, companies and placement partners will be an added advantage.




- Good understanding of entry-level recruitment and industry hiring requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Good follow-up and coordination skills.
- Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets and basic reporting.
- Comfortable with email, LinkedIn and other skilled communication platforms.
- Willingness to travel for corporate visits and placement activities is mandatory.
- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with multiple internal teams.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline.
- Master's degree in HR, Management, Education, Social Sciences or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Relevant experience in the education/skill-development sector will be given preference.

What We Expect The candidate should be someone who can build relationships, generate opportunities and convert corporate connections into actual placement opportunities. This role requires regular communication with companies and HR teams, proactive follow-up, field visits and coordination with students and internal teams.

Travel willingness is mandatory for this position.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
