Job Title: Pipeline Pilot Protocol Developer

Location: India (Remote)

Duration: 12 Months (Extendable based on project requirements)

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Pipeline Pilot Protocol Developer with strong expertise in BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot, PilotScript, and lab systems integration within a pharma/life sciences workplace. The role involves hands-on protocol development, troubleshooting, deployment, and mentoring support for ongoing scientific workflow and lab integration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and deploy Pipeline Pilot protocols end-to-end
- Develop integrations with lab instruments, Oracle databases, REST/SOAP APIs, and ELN/LIMS systems.
- Build reusable subprotocols, templates, and modular workflow components
- Implement Pilot Script logic for data transformation, validation, conditional routing, and reporting
- Troubleshoot production issues using checkpoints, logs, and design mode
- Support deployment, scheduling, monitoring, and protocol optimization activities




- Collaborate with business and lab teams to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring activities within the team

Required Skills:

- 4+ years of hands-on BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot development experience
- Strong experience with Pilot Script and protocol debugging
- Experience with CSV/Excel/database data processing and transformations
- Oracle/SQL with ODBC/JDBC integration experience
- REST/SOAP API integration and JSON/XML parsing
- Knowledge of deployment, scheduling, and performance optimization
- Experience in pharma/life sciences or laboratory environments

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with OneLab, Operations LES, Grid ELN, or similar lab platforms
- GxP/ALCOA+/IQ/OQ/PQ validation exposure
- Reporting and visualization experience (Excel/PDF/Web reports)
- Pipeline Pilot server administration and monitoring knowledge
- Experience with ServiceNow or enterprise ITSM environments
