About the Role

APEXWEBSOFT is hiring a Web Developer with 1.5–3 years of hands-on experience in PHP, Laravel, WordPress, Shopify, and MySQL. The ideal candidate should be capable of developing, customising, maintaining, and optimising websites while delivering clean, scalable, and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel.
- Develop and customise WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
- Work on Shopify websites, including theme customisation and modifications.
- Write clean, secure, reusable, and well-documented PHP code.
- Work with MySQL, including database queries, management, and optimisation.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise existing websites and web applications.
- Build responsive layouts using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
- Implement website performance, security, and speed optimisation.
- Work with WordPress hooks, filters, Custom Post Types (CPTs), ACF, and WooCommerce.
- Analyse project requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.
- Debug and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and developers to ensure timely project delivery.

Required Skills & Expertise
- *1.5–3 years of professional experience in web development.
- Strong hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel.
- Strong experience in WordPress development, including custom themes and plugins.
- Practical experience with Shopify development and theme customisation.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Experience with WordPress hooks, filters, CPTs, ACF, and WooCommerce.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party services.




- Familiarity with Git / Bitbucket.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with attention to detail.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
