Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and patient-friendly Phlebotomist to handle blood sample collection, ensure patient comfort, and maintain proper sample handling protocols at our Aster Lab Franchise in Amruthahalli
Key Responsibilities
· Patient handling and registration verification
· Blood and other specimen collection
· Proper use of vacutainers, needles and collection equipment
· Valuable venipuncture skills
· Correct labelling and handling of samples
· Maintaining sample quality and preventing sample rejection
· Following infection-control and safety procedures
· Preparing samples for transportation/testing
· Handling patients professionally and courteously
· Maintaining cleanliness of the collection area
· Maintaining daily collection records
· Coordination with the Central laboratory/team
· Home sample collection, if applicable
Required Qualification
· Certification in DMLT / Phlebotomy / MLT
· Minimum 1–3 years (Max) of experience in sample collection
· Good communication skills (Kannada + basic English)
· Ability to handle patients calmly (including elderly & children)
· Basic computer knowledge for entry & reports
Preferred
· Experience in diagnostic centers or collection centres
· Two-wheeler (optional but helpful for home collection visits)
