Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Pharmacy Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital pharmacy. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and productive medication management, inventory control, regulatory compliance, and effective supervision of pharmacy staff.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the hospital pharmacy.
- Supervise, train, and manage pharmacists and pharmacy support staff.
- Ensure the safe and accurate dispensing of medicines as per prescriptions.
- Maintain adequate stock levels and ensure proper inventory management.
- Monitor medicine expiry dates, batch numbers, storage conditions, and stock movement.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, procurement, stores, and other hospital departments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy laws, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proper records for medicines, including controlled and high-alert medications where applicable.
- Monitor purchase requirements and coordinate with vendors and the procurement team.
- Minimize stock shortages, excess inventory, wastage, and expired medicines.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliation.




- Implement and maintain pharmacy SOPs and quality standards.
- Handle pharmacy-related patient or staff concerns professionally.
- Prepare pharmacy reports, stock statements, and other management reports.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, organization, and storage standards within the pharmacy.
- Support internal and external audits and inspections.

Qualifications
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the applicable State Pharmacy Council.
- Previous experience in hospital pharmacy management is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, inventory management, and regulatory requirements.
- Good leadership, communication, and team-management skills.

Experience Preferred: 5+ years of experience in pharmacy operations, with relevant experience in a supervisory or managerial role.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
