- Dispense medicines as per doctor’s prescription.
- Verify prescriptions and ensure accurate dosage and medication instructions.
- Maintain proper stock of medicines and medical supplies.
- Monitor expiry dates and maintain inventory records.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff regarding medications.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines.
- Maintain pharmacy records, bills, and daily stock registers.
- Check incoming medicines and verify quantity and quality.
- Follow hospital pharmacy procedures and safety guidelines.
- Provide basic information to patients regarding medication usage as instructed.
- Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Requirements
- Qualification: D.Pharm / B.Pharm
- Valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council.
- Fresher or 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medicines.
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment.
