Position: PGT Mathematics Teacher

Location: J D Academy, Barabanki

Job Type: Onsite, Full-time

Salary Range: INR 15,000 – 22,000 per month.

The PGT Mathematics Teacher is responsible for teaching Mathematics to senior secondary students (Classes IX–XII) as per the CBSE curriculum, developing robust analytical and problem-solving skills, and preparing students for board examinations and competitive exams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Academic Delivery

- Teach Mathematics to Classes IX and XII according to CBSE syllabus.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assignments.
- Use innovative teaching methods including smart classes, activities, and practical examples.
- Ensure conceptual clarity and problem-solving skills among students.

2. Student Assessment

- Prepare question papers, tests, and assignments.
- Conduct unit tests, periodic tests, and internal assessments.
- Evaluate answer sheets and maintain academic records.
- Provide feedback to students and parents regarding performance.

3. Classroom Management

- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Encourage participation, discussion, and critical thinking.

4. Academic Support

- Provide extra classes or remedial support to weak students.
- Guide students for board exams and competitive exams (JEE, etc.).

5. Curriculum & Planning





- Follow the CBSE curriculum and guidelines.
- Participate in academic planning, syllabus completion, and exam preparation.
- Collaborate with other teachers for interdisciplinary activities.

6. Co-curricular Participation

- Participate in school meetings, training, workshops, and seminars.
- Assist in school events, competitions, and academic activities.

Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Mathematics (M.Sc. Mathematics).
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) from a recognized university.
- CTET / State TET (preferred).
- Minimum 2–5 years teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.

Skills Required
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
- Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts.
- Proficiency in smart boards and digital teaching tools.
- Strong classroom management skills.

Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain student records and progress reports.
- Attend parent-teacher meetings.
- Ensure completion of syllabus within academic timelines.
