Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute procurement of coal as per plant requirements and inventory norms.

- Coordinate with approved vendors and suppliers for timely placement and execution of purchase orders.

- Monitor coal consumption, stock levels, and replenishment requirements.

- Track coal dispatches, shipments, and transportation to ensure timely delivery.

- Liaise with quality, stores, finance, and operations teams for smooth procurement activities.

- Review supplier performance related to quality, quantity, delivery, and commercial compliance.

- Analyze market trends, coal prices, and supply conditions to support procurement decisions.

- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory requirements.

- Maintain procurement records, contracts, vendor documentation, and reports.

- Support cost optimization initiatives through effective negotiation and sourcing strategies.
