Key Responsibilities

- Provide functional expertise and support for PeopleSoft HCM applications, with primary focus on Payroll and Perks.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective PeopleSoft functional solutions.

- Configure and maintain PeopleSoft HCM modules based on business requirements.

- Provide strong functional expertise in PeopleSoft Global Payroll / North American Payroll, depending on project requirements.

- Configure and support Payroll elements, earnings, deductions, taxes, benefits deductions, pay processes, and payroll calculations.

- Work on Benefits Administration, including benefit plans, eligibility rules, event processing, deductions, and enrollment processes.

- Analyze and resolve complex payroll and benefits issues, including calculation, eligibility, deduction, and employee data issues.

- Support Payroll processing, retro calculations, off-cycle processing, year-end activities, and payroll reconciliation.

- Work with HR and business teams to understand requirements and recommend appropriate PeopleSoft solutions.





- Develop functional specifications for customizations, interfaces, reports, and enhancements.

- Work closely with PeopleSoft technical teams on PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Integration Broker, and interfaces.

- Participate in testing activities including unit testing, system/integration testing, regression testing, and UAT.

- Support production issues and perform root-cause analysis for complex functional problems.

- Assist with PeopleSoft upgrades, enhancements, patches, and application maintenance activities.

- Review existing business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

- Prepare functional documentation, configuration documents, test scripts, and user documentation.

- Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams, business stakeholders, technical teams, and other application teams.

- Provide guidance and functional leadership to junior PeopleSoft consultants.
