- Functional and application level testing of various Industrial devices like Drive, Power Supply, Control Card, PLC, HMI, Industrial computer, Motherboard etc.

- Troubleshooting &
- Debugging of PCB assemblies from both hardware and software end, to identify and locate faulty components

- Component replacement (both Through-Hole and SMD) using appropriate soldering/de-soldering tools

- L4 Repairing of industrial devices

- Soldering &

- De-soldering of Through-Hole &
- SMD components including DIP, SOIC, QFP, QFN, SOJ, SIP and BGA ICs

- Address and resolve post repair issues at customer end whenever/wherever required

- Maintain repair reports and technical record in ERP

- Tracking repaired units testing result and performance at customer end

- Component ordering/requisition in ERP

- Test setup development for functional testing of industrial devices

- 5S and ESD prevention practice adherence

- SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) development for testing and troubleshooting of industrial devices

- Training fresh engineers on various technical skills required for repairing and testing electronic PCB assemblies





- Continuous improvement in troubleshooting/repair procedures in order to increase First time fix percentage and optimize service operations

Desired Profile &

- Competencies

- Must have sound knowledge of basic electronics and power electronics components

- Hands on experience in soldering & desoldering of Through-Hole and SMD components including ICs, Connectors etc

- Must be familiar with tools like DMM, Power Supply, CRO/DSO, Soldering Iron, Rework Station, IC Tester, Universal IC Programmer etc

- Must have sound knowledge of electronic component testing, working principle and usage in electronic circuitry

- Must be able to identify component type, Part number, package and electrical specifications

- Should have knowledge of Industrial Electronic components like SCR, Thyristor, IGBT, MOSFET, IPM, Rectifier etc

- Knowledge of Industrial Automation devices like PLC, HMI, AC DRIVE, SOFT STARTER, SERVO DRIVE, MOTOR, and INSTRUMENTATION will be an added advantage

- Should be able to perform with high efficiency under pressure

- Should be adaptable with travelling to customer site (sometimes) and working beyond office hours whenever required to restore customers machine
