Mozenthra Limited is a technology company developing digital platforms and connected hardware products. Our R&D; team is working on next-generation devices that combine high-speed networking, Fiber connectivity, Wi-Fi, local storage, NAS capabilities, display interfaces, and cloud-based services.

We are looking for a technically strong Embedded Hardware & PCB Design Engineer to join our R&D; team and take responsibility for the hardware development of a new connected networking and storage product.

Position Overview The selected engineer will be responsible for the design, development, prototyping, testing, debugging, and optimization of custom electronic hardware.

The product will integrate multiple technologies, including:

Fiber Connectivity Wi-Fi Ethernet NAS/Storage Display USB Embedded Linux Cloud Synchronization The ideal candidate should have practical experience in PCB design, embedded hardware, high-speed digital interfaces, networking hardware, and hardware debugging.

This role is suitable for an engineer who wants to work on a complete product rather than only performing PCB layout.

Key Responsibilities1. Hardware Architecture & Design

● Develop the overall hardware architecture based on product requirements.

● Select processors/SoCs, memory, storage controllers, networking components, power-management ICs and other components.

● Analyze datasheets, reference designs and technical specifications.

● Define hardware interfaces and system-level communication architecture.

● Work closely with firmware, embedded software, cloud and mechanical engineering teams.

2. Schematic & PCB Design

● Design complete electronic schematics.

● Develop multi-layer PCBs for high-speed embedded systems.

● Perform component placement and high-speed signal routing.

● Design and review:

○ DDR/RAM interfaces

○ PCIe interfaces

○ NVMe

○ USB 2.0 / USB 3.x

○ Ethernet

○ Display interfaces

○ GPIO/I²C/SPI/UART

○ Power-management circuits

● Maintain proper grounding, power distribution, signal integrity and thermal considerations.

● Generate production documentation including:

○ Gerber files

○ BOM

○ Pick-and-place files

○ Assembly drawings

○ Manufacturing documentation

3. Fiber / Optical Networking

● Design and integrate Fiber connectivity into the hardware platform.

● Work with appropriate optical transceivers, PHYs and networking SoCs.

● Support Fiber WAN/LAN architecture.

● Work with firmware engineers during hardware bring-up and optical interface testing.

● Experience with ONT/ONU, GPON, EPON, XGS-PON or similar technologies will be an advantage.

4. Wi-Fi & Networking

● Integrate Wi-Fi modules or chipsets.

● Support Ethernet and high-speed LAN interfaces.

● Work with networking processors, PHYs and associated peripherals.

● Coordinate with RF/antenna engineers where applicable.

● Consider RF performance, thermal requirements and electromagnetic compatibility during hardware development.

5. NAS & Storage Hardware

● Design hardware supporting local network-attached storage.

● Integrate appropriate storage interfaces such as:

○ NVMe

○ SATA

○ SSD





○ HDD

○ USB 3.x

● Ensure appropriate power delivery and thermal management for storage devices.

● Work with software engineers to validate storage performance and reliability.

6. Display & User Interface

● Integrate LCD/OLED/TFT/touch displays as required.

● Design required display and touch interfaces.

● Integrate status LEDs, buttons and other hardware controls.

● Coordinate with firmware/software teams for display functionality.

7. Embedded Linux & Hardware Bring-Up

● Support initial board bring-up and hardware validation.

● Work with Embedded Linux engineers on:

○ Bootloader

○ Device Tree

○ Hardware drivers

○ Peripheral configuration

○ Board initialization

● Assist in identifying and resolving hardware/software integration issues.

● Support secure boot and OTA update requirements where applicable.

8. Cloud-Connected Device Integration The device will communicate with Mozenthra's cloud software.

The engineer will work with software and backend teams to support:

● Device identification

● Secure device provisioning

● Hardware-level security

● Network connectivity

● Cloud synchronization requirements

● Reliable device-to-cloud communication

● Firmware update mechanisms The candidate is not expected to be a cloud developer, but should understand the hardware requirements of a cloud-connected embedded product.

Prototype Development & Testing The engineer will be responsible for practical hardware validation, including:

● Prototype assembly and bring-up.

● Board-level debugging.

● Power-rail verification.

● Signal measurement.

● Interface testing.

● Thermal testing.

● Storage testing.

● Network-performance testing.

● Fiber connectivity testing.

● Wi-Fi testing.

● Hardware reliability testing.

● Root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

Experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, electronic loads and other hardware-debugging equipment is required.

Education

Required:

Bachelor's degree in

● Electronics & Communication Engineering

A relevant Master's degree or equivalent industry experience will be an advantage.

Experience

3–7 years of relevant skilled experience in embedded hardware, PCB design or electronic product development.

Candidates with strong hands-on project experience and a proven hardware portfolio may also be considered.

Compensation

₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month
