About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic SAP India Payroll Executive (Contractual) to join our HR Shared Services team. This is an entry-level position ideal for fresh graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience who are interested in payroll operations, HR processes, and SAP-based payroll systems. The incumbent will support payroll processing activities, employee data management, statutory compliance, and payroll-related query resolution.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation and execution of monthly payroll processing using SAP HCM Payroll.
- Maintain and update employee master data, including new hires, transfers, promotions, salary revisions, and separations.
- Validate payroll inputs such as attendance, leave records, overtime, incentives, reimbursements, and deductions.
- Support payroll reconciliation and ensure accuracy of payroll outputs before salary disbursement.
- Assist in preparation of statutory reports and compliance activities related to:

- Provident Fund (PF)





- Employee State Insurance (ESI)

- Professional Tax (PT)

- Labour Welfare Fund (LWF)
- Tax Deducted at Source (TDS)
- Generate payroll reports, salary registers, and audit documentation.
- Respond to employee payroll-related queries within defined service levels.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders for payroll data validation and issue resolution.
- Participate in payroll audits, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of employee payroll information.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of payroll concepts and salary structure.
- Exposure to SAP HCM Payroll, SAP SuccessFactors, or any HRMS platform is preferred.
- Positive working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data validation, basic formulas).
- Understanding of Indian payroll statutory compliance is desirable.
