Role Purpose The Parts In-Charge will be responsible for managing the complete spare parts function at the Kasturi Nagar workshop, ensuring timely availability of parts for repair and refurbishment activities while maintaining optimum inventory levels, accurate records, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day spare parts operations at the workshop.
- Maintain adequate stock of fast-moving and critical spare parts to support workshop operations.
- Raise parts requirements based on vehicle repair and service requirements.
- Coordinate with the procurement and central parts team for timely ordering and replenishment.
- Receive, verify, and store incoming spare parts as per quantity and quality requirements.
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure proper inward and outward documentation.
- Issue parts to technicians against approved job cards and maintain proper records.
- Monitor stock levels, slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete parts and initiate necessary action.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile stock with system records.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and binning of all parts for easy retrieval.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors, Technicians, Workshop Managers,



and Procurement teams for parts availability.
- Track pending parts and follow up to avoid delays in vehicle turnaround time.
- Monitor parts consumption and identify abnormal usage or discrepancies.
- Ensure warranty, rejected, and returned parts are properly documented and processed.
- Support cost control by minimizing wastage, unnecessary purchases, and inventory ageing.
- Maintain workshop parts-related MIS and provide regular reports to the management.
- Ensure compliance with company processes, audit requirements, and inventory controls.
- Identify opportunities to improve parts availability, inventory accuracy, and workshop efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

- 25 years of experience in automobile spare parts / workshop parts management.
- Experience in 2-wheeler service or automobile workshop operations preferred.
- Good knowledge of 2-wheeler spare parts and components.
- Experience in inventory management, stock reconciliation, and parts procurement.
- Basic knowledge of ERP/DMS or inventory management systems.
- Valuable coordination and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical ability.
- Ability to manage stock under pressure and meet workshop requirements.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets.
