? Job PurposeThe Packing Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the complete packing operation, ensuring that the right product is packed with the right components, accessories, labels and packaging materials, while maintaining required quality, productivity and dispatch timelines.

? Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day packing operations according to the production and dispatch plan.
- Allocate manpower to different packing lines/activities based on workload and production requirements.
- Ensure correct packing of knitting needles, crochet hooks, interchangeable sets, cables, accessories, kits and other KnitPro products.
- Ensure 100% product identification and SKU-wise packing accuracy, including product size, colour, quantity and model/code.
- Ensure that multi-component kits contain all required components such as needle tips, cables, end caps, keys, accessories, cases and instruction/insert cards, wherever applicable.
- Ensure correct labels, barcodes, stickers, tags, inserts and product information are used for each SKU.
- Monitor packing as per approved packing specifications, samples, work instructions and visual standards.
- Conduct regular checks for packing quality,



product appearance, component completeness and presentation.
- Ensure products are free from scratches, damage, dust, stains or other visible defects before final packing.
- Control and minimize packing errors, mix-ups, rejection, rework and customer complaints.
- Ensure proper folding, insertion, sealing, tagging, labelling and carton packing as applicable to different products.
- Monitor packing material consumption and ensure availability of required boxes, cards, labels, pouches, cases, inserts and other packing materials.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, PPC, Stores and Dispatch for smooth movement of finished products.
- Maintain SKU-wise/shift-wise packing records, production reports and rejection/rework records.
- Monitor daily production quantity, productivity and manpower efficiency.
- Ensure proper segregation and identification of OK, rejected, rework and hold material.
- Train packing operators/workers on packing methods, product identification, quality standards and work instructions.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, manpower utilization and work allocation within the packing area.
- Ensure implementation of 5S, housekeeping, safety and visual management in the packing department.
- Identify recurring packing problems and coordinate with Quality/Production for root-cause analysis and corrective action.




- Support continuous improvement initiatives for productivity improvement, quality improvement, reduction of packing material wastage and cost reduction.
- Ensure packed goods are properly handed over to the Finished Goods/Dispatch area with required documentation.

? Candidate Profile

- Female candidate with 2–5 years of experience in Packing/Production supervision, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in small-component/product assembly or packing will be an advantage.
- Candidates with experience in consumer products, handicrafts, tools, accessories, export-oriented manufacturing or similar industries will be preferred.
- Graduate/Diploma in any relevant discipline.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.
- Good manpower handling and team-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly for SKU, quantity, colour, size and component identification.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work with daily production targets and timelines.
- Knowledge of 5S, quality and shop-floor discipline.
