Role Description The Owner role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad, responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to the local business operations. The Owner will oversee sales performance, store or unit profitability, customer experience, and brand compliance, ensuring alignment with VIP Industries’ overall standards and goals. Daily activities include monitoring financial results, reviewing inventory and merchandising, engaging with key customers and partners, and guiding teams to deliver exceptional service and operational efficiency.

The role involves making data-informed decisions, managing key stakeholder relationships, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements,



and driving local market growth while maintaining VIP’s brand reputation. The Owner will also support talent development by mentoring managers, fostering a positive workplace culture, and encouraging innovation in the Hyderabad operations.

Qualifications

- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience overseeing cross-functional teams and fostering an inclusive, performance-oriented culture.
- Business and financial acumen, including budgeting, P&L; oversight, revenue optimization, and cost control in a retail, manufacturing, or consumer goods environment.
- Operational management capabilities, such as inventory planning, supply chain coordination, process improvement, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Customer and market-focused skills, including relationship management, local market understanding, and the ability to translate consumer insights into business decisions.
- Strategic thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to set long-term goals, prioritize initiatives, and respond effectively to changing market conditions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent VIP Industries to partners, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field; significant experience in leadership or ownership roles is highly beneficial.
- Experience in luggage, retail, fashion, or consumer durable sectors is an advantage, along with familiarity with multi-channel distribution and brand management.
