- Lead and supervise the OT nursing and technical team during daily operations.

- Coordinate and prepare the OT for scheduled and emergency surgical procedures.

- Ensure availability and readiness of instruments, equipment, implants, consumables, and other OT requirements.

- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, technicians, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.

- Allocate duties and prepare staff schedules/rosters as required.

- Ensure strict compliance with infection-control, sterilization, and patient-safety protocols.

- Monitor OT cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental standards.

- Ensure proper handling, counting, documentation, and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment.

- Maintain accurate OT records, checklists, registers, and surgical documentation.

- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, SOPs, NABH standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores/procurement for timely availability of consumables.

- Handle OT-related issues promptly and escalate concerns to the appropriate authority.





- Conduct regular team briefings and support staff training and development.

- Monitor staff performance and promote teamwork, discipline, and professional conduct.

- Assist in audits, quality-improvement initiatives, and incident reporting.

- Ensure proper handover and communication between shifts.

Requirements

- Diploma/B.Sc. in Nursing, B.Sc.

Operation Theatre

Technology, or relevant healthcare qualification.

- 7+ years of experience in an Operating Theatre/OT setting, with prior team-lead or supervisory experience preferred.

- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, OT protocols, infection control, and sterilization practices.

- Good leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.

- Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and emergency duties when required.

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
