OT Security Engineer | Industrial Cybersecurity | ICS/SCADA Security | Pharma Manufacturing

Location: Ahmedabad & Baroda (Plant-Based Role - The role follows plant operations and a 6-day working schedule.)

Education: B.Tech, B.E /M.E, M. Tech -Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or Information Security.

Role Summary: As part of our growing Digital and Cybersecurity team, we are looking for an experienced OT Security Engineer to secure and strengthen our industrial control systems and manufacturing networks across pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.This role is ideal for professionals with experience in OT Security, Industrial Cybersecurity, ICS, SCADA, PLC, DCS, MES, and Manufacturing Networks who want to work on critical systems that support large-scale pharmaceutical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Secure and manage OT environments including PLC, SCADA, DCS, MES, HMI, Historians, and industrial networks.
- Implement OT security controls, network segmentation, industrial firewalls, secure remote access, and endpoint protection.
- Monitor OT assets and network traffic using industrial cybersecurity platforms and threat monitoring solutions.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, remediation planning, and system hardening activities.
- Support OT incident response, threat investigations,



and recovery activities.
- Ensure compliance with ISA/IEC 62443, NIST guidelines, GxP requirements, and company cybersecurity standards.
- Collaborate with Automation, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and IT teams to strengthen cyber resilience across sites.

Required Skills

- 5-10 years of experience with at least 3 years in OT/ICS Cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI, Historian, and MES environments.
- Solid understanding of Industrial Cybersecurity, OT Networks, and Network Segmentation.
- Knowledge of Modbus, OPC UA, Profinet, EtherNet/IP, Siemens S7, and related industrial protocols.
- Experience with industrial firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, access management, and cybersecurity monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with ISA/IEC 62443, Purdue Model, NIST SP 800-82, vulnerability management, and incident response.

Preferred
- Experience in Pharma, Biotech, Life Sciences, Chemicals, or other regulated manufacturing industries.
- Exposure to DeltaV, Siemens PCS 7, Rockwell Automation, ABB, or similar automation platforms.
- Certifications such as GICSP, CISSP, CEH, ISA/IEC 62443, CCNA Security, or CCNP Security.
