Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing the operating room by setting up surgical instruments, sterile drapes, and necessary equipment.

- Provide direct patient care and maintain a sterile setting to ensure patient safety.

- Assist surgeons and anesthetists during procedures by anticipating their needs and providing required instruments and supplies.

- Monitor patients' vital signs and condition during surgery and in the post-operative recovery phase.

- Maintain clinical documentation, including detailed records of surgical procedures and patient progress.

- Offer emergency support during critical situations in the operating room.

- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.

- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.

- Participate in the sterilization and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment.

- Educate and support patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care.
